A very close cousin of the Goji berry is the Wolfberry, and they are often mistaken for each other as the berries that they produce are so similar in look, taste and medicinal and nutritional value.
The Wolfberry is a very different plant to grow though as it has more of a vine habit and does very well where winter gets cold.
It usually fruits in late Autumn or early Winter when the Goji berry is shutting down.
It does extremely well in pots as long as it has something to lean on or just drape itself over.
