Strawberry Pink Flowered
Fragaria ananassa
This pink flowered variety is absolutely perfect for small gardens or containers.
It is just ,so easy, to keep and is very non-demanding.
The pink flowers are very sweet scented and the fruit is reasonably regular and long rather than round in shape.
They are not quite as sweet as many of the white flowered varieties, but the taste is more refreshing.
They fruit from September to November and March to May and , if left to their own devices will spread by runner extremely well.
