Lemongrass Cymbopogan citratus Gramineae
No stranger to Asian cuisine, this delightful herb is quite well accepted as a food enhancer, but it's ability to ease the stomach, especially when the digestive system is in an uproar, makes it's inclusion in the garden an absolute must.
It bunches nicely in any situation but is not always tidy unless frequently used and trimmed.
It is not demanding and will often survive in situations that are not ideal in the garden. It does however respond very well to good water and sunlight.
All in all, an easy herb to grow and very easy to use in the kitchen.
