COLTSFOOT       Coughwort           Tussilago farfara            Asteraceae

Spring Flowers

It exists as a low groundcover and spreads itself very efficiently using it's creeping scaly rhizome.

Coltsfoot leaves can be eaten and are high in zinc, but we use it predominantly for it's catarrh relieving properties.

We have used the dried leaves as a smoke to stop an asthma attack but we find that it works as well, if not as quickly as tincture.

It has been declared a weed in some states, so it is best to check first.

Rootstock   $4.50

Unavailable until Spring when we can find them again.

Unfortunately we cannot supply plants, rootlets or divisions to Western Australia, Tasmania or outside Australia.
