This absolutely gorgeous plant is grown for its beautiful glossy dark green leaves, which, when used in floral arrangements, show no signs of wilting for up to a week. The leaves are quite edible and make an interesting addition to to a tossed salad.
In the garden though, it is delightful, especially in winter when everything else is looking a little tardy. They are bi-ennial as are most Angelica's
Angelica's deep viridian green, glossy, almost fernlike leaves, create the boldest of statements.
It maybe from New Zealand initiall,y but it has settled into Australia's climates beautifully.
