Alehoof is a traditional blood cleanser and tonic that is well indicated for those suffering from kidney stones or gastritis.
We use a poultice of the leaves to reduce bruising as well.
The young leaves are a salad green and can be brewed to make 'Gill Tea' It loves full sun if it not dry out but partial shade best otherwise.
